The visit commenced with a speech by Idham Badruzaman, Ph.D., the Head of International Relations Office at UMY,

who welcomed the UUM delegation and expressed hopes that this sharing session would prove fruitful for all participants. “Through this agenda, we hope to strengthen our collaboration further by actively encouraging students to share their thoughts and experiences, particularly in relation to student activities and organizations,” said Dr. Badruzaman.

Professor Nor Azura, a senior lecturer at UUM, also spoke at the event, expressing her desire for students from UUM and UMY to learn from one another. She suggested that the two universities could advance their collaboration through mobility programs, joint research, and other initiatives.

“UMY is one of our best university partners, and we believe that continuing such programs will not only enhance students’ academic activities but also improve our institutions,” said Prof. Azura.
