The International Relations Department of UMY was the first in Indonesia to be awarded the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Modules program award. HE. Charles-Michel Geurts, Deputy of the EU delegation for Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, officially presented this award in the KH Ibrahim UMY Twin Building after delivering a public lecture on EU-Indonesia Connectivity on November 13, 2018.
The ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Modules program is a three-year grant program with a maximum grant amount of 30,000 Euros. A grant program with a cap of 30,000 Euros to be used over three years is the ERASMUS+ Jean Monnet Modules program. The Jean Monnet Award is not easy to obtain. Universities must have a minimum of 40 hours of teaching European Union per school year in order to submit a program proposal. Since 2017, The International Relations Department of UMY has submitted proposals and must compete with approximately 12,000 proposals from around the world.

Period of the program: September 2024 – July 31, 2025 - What is Erasmus ICM?
International Credit Mobility (ICM) promotes the mobility of Higher Education Institution (HEI) students and employees from a Programme Country to a Partner Country or vice versa. In this instance, the University of Granada collaborates with UMY to provide opportunities for UMY staff to visit the University of Granada under the ICM Program’s Staff Mobility for Training schemes.
This activity supports the professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff through training events abroad (excluding conferences) and job shadowing/observation periods/training at a partner institution.
Staff for training scholarships can be implemented by administrative or teaching staff in Departments or Units of UGR or by participating in any planned International Staff Training Weeks or the International Researcher Development Week. Concerning the first option, candidates should be in contact with their colleagues from UGR and agree on a work plan with them. - Who is Eligible?
Applicants must be Employed at UMY (Dosen Tetap atau Tendik)
Have a minimum English proficiency level of B2 (IELTS 6.0/TOEFL iBT 78/Duolingo 100/TOEFL ITP 500/TOEFL LTC UMY 500) - Duration of Program
Five (5) working days plus 2 days for travel (7 days). The staff can stay longer but the grants stay the same. - Possible Grants

XIII ERASMUS+ Staff Training Week 2022 at UMU
The Vice-Rector for Internationalization cordially invites you to participate in the Erasmus+ Staff Week that will take place at the University of Murcia from May 30th to June 3rd 2022.
We have prepared a program for the following target groups:
- Staff involved in International Offices
- Staff working in University Libraries.
- Staff working in IT Services.
- Erasmus+ Staff Training Week Spanish Course (Language Service): Intensive Spanish Course (20 hours), B1 level. In addition to fill in the online application, it’s compulsory to send by email to staffweek@um.es an A2 Spanish level official certificate.)
