In Encouraging Internationalization Programs, CIA Gives a Dissemination to Department of Dentistry
Thursday (9/1), a meeting was held at Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut (RSGM) UMY in order to encourage Department of Dentistry UMY to boost the international experience.
Eko Priyo Purnomo, Ph.D., Executive Director of Cooperation and International Affairs, clarified that there are several programs as strategies to strengthen the international reputation of UMY: Student Exchange, Summer School, and UMY Internationalization.
Eko prompted the Dentistry Department to raise inbound and outbound students through student exchange and summer school. There are also several programs related to UMY internationalization; Fellow Visiting, Sabbatical Leave, and Full-Time Staff.
Visiting Fellow is a scheme that allows international scholars to come to UMY and collaborate with the lecturers. Besides, Sabbatical Leave is a program that offers UMY lecturers with the ability to research different universities under UMY’s partners abroad. Also, Full Time Staff is a foreign lecture who employed at UMY with some qualifications. (hnl)
