UTeM and UMY in Talks about Collaboration on Educational Activities
Collaboration among educational institutions is a key component in the implementation of an effective internationalization initiative. Establishing solid partnerships with universities and other international educational institutions will ultimately result in the creation of an international atmosphere for both students and faculty staff.
Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) was warmly welcomed at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) on November 13. The purpose of the meeting was to explore potential collaborations in the area of education, specifically research collaboration, joint and dual degrees, and prototype development.
A number of UMY faculties, including Agriculture, Health Science, Engineering, and Business and Management, are regarded as prospective collaborators with UTeM. Integration of technology will be the primary objective of all faculties that form partnerships with UTeM. Furthermore, the Vocational School will also actively engage in fostering collaboration related to the digital transformation of large-scale enterprises.
Both UTeM and UMY are eagerly anticipating collaborating on projects that will result in innovative ideas and advantageous outcomes. Indeed, apart from this, a prosperous collaboration is also anticipated to occur in 2024.
