On Tuesday, October 11, in the AR Fachruddin B Building, the Administrative Court of Yogyakarta and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was followed by a public lecture. Direct signatures from the UMY Rector and the Chief of the Yogyakarta Administrative Court launched the collaboration.

The rector of UMY, Prof. Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto M.P., IPM, was delighted to build a partnership with the Yogyakarta Administrative Court since it may be one of the ways to prepare students for their futures in the workforce.
Moreover, Dr. Agus Budi Susilo, S.H., M.H., the head of the Yogyakarta Administrative Court, stated his high hopes for the partnership and his eagerness to talk more specifically about it. Even though the court’s practitioners were raised in academic institutions, a collaboration between practical and academic institutions is still rare, he added.

It was continued with a public lecture after the signing ceremony. Numerous students from the Law Faculty of UMY attended the public lecture, which had as its theme “The Ups and Downs of Administrative Law Enforcement through State Administrative Trial.” The head of Yogyakarta’s Administrative Court, Dr. Agus Budi Susilo, S.H., M.H., delivers the public lecture. Students show their interest in the subject by asking several questions.
