Faculty of Nursing UNAND Benchmarking Visit to UMY

From 7 – 8 November, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) performs benchmark to the faculty of nursing Universitas Andalas (UNAND) on the growth of the nursing sector. The two days agenda took place at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Science Building of UMY and PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping Hospital.

The head of UMY’s Cooperation and International Affairs, Fitri Arofiati, S.Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph.D., expressed her pleasure in welcoming UNAND to the university and hoped that the benchmarking would be productive and that both sides could learn from one another.

Furthermore, the representative from UNAND, Esi Afriyanti, S.Kp.M.Kes, stated during her introduction that they feel welcomed and are eager to learn new things from the benchmarking visit to UMY.

Throughout the benchmarking, various activities were completed. Wulan Noviani, Ns., MM., M.Kep., Ph.D. delivered the presentation about Domestic Cooperation of Nursing of UMY, which was followed by Resti Yulianti Sutrisno, Ns., M.Kep., Sp. Kep. MB’s explanation of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Mini Hospital presentation, before the agenda, was concluded with a tour of the UMY Mini Hospital.

The presentation on UMY’s Cooperation and International Affairs was given on the second day at the PKU Muhammadiyah Gamping hospital by Fitri Arofiati, S.Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph.D. It was then followed by a presentation on the Cooperation Division of the Master of Nursing UMY by Dr. Falasifah Ani Yuniarti, Ns., MAN. A tour of the OSCE Center concluded the 2-days series of the benchmarking visit.
