YOGYAKARTA, INDONESIA – In a significant step aimed at bolstering the global standing of Indonesian higher education, Universitas Muhammadiyah Bulukumba (UMB) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) have formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). The agreements, signed during a ceremony at UMY’s campus, lay the foundation for an ambitious partnership focused on advancing academic excellence, research, and institutional development.

Dr. H. Jumase Basra, M.Si., Rector of UMB, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, MP., IPM., ASEAN., Eng., Rector of UMY, marked the occasion by formalizing the relationship, which is set to impact both institutions’ academic and research programs.
