Yogyakarta, Indonesia-Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) and ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap have united to drive innovation in education and healthcare. The agreement, celebrated as a pivotal moment by both institutions, focuses on mentorship and the establishment of a Faculty of Dentistry at ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap, a distinguished health sciences institution based in South Sulawesi.

Prof. Dr. Gunawan Budiyanto, Rector of UMY, expressed a vision for a partnership that transcends formalities. “We aim for this collaboration to grow beyond words on paper, ensuring its sustainability through continuous programs and meaningful activities,” he affirmed during the ceremonial signing.

Dr. Muhammad Tahir, SKM., M.Kes., Rector of ITKES Muhammadiyah Sidrap, highlighted the transformative potential of the initiative. “This collaboration will guide us in developing our Faculty of Dentistry. We hope that it will inspire progress in curriculum design and other key academic and institutional advancements,” he remarked.
