International Dental Summer School (IDSS)
This program is intentionally designed to give an opportunity for participants to experience working in a rural area in a period of 2,5-week course. The activities such as skills lab and tutorial discussion will embed and train the participants with skills that will be needed in treating a patient in a holistic aspect.

International Nursing Summer School (INSS) is an annual event organized by Nursing Student in Faculty of medicine and health science, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. INSS offer programs for Nursing Students to spend an unforgettable Summer studying abroad in the heart of Javanese Culture City of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The program that combined educational, cultural, and social program is intended to prepare nursing students in case today’s global economy demands graduates with a global perspective. The program that is conducted on July 2020 will train the students to develop their skill, knowledge, and experience through a problem based learning activity and community practice, especially in community.

This summer school aims to promote various herbs in Indonesia to other countries. Indeed, Indonesia is a tropical country possessing the greatest biodiversity in the world and comprising 35,000 species of plants. With this great herbs potential in Indonesia, this can be one of source in economic. The other aims of summer school is to reinforce internationalization of Pharmacy Department of UMY. The program that is conducted on 4th August 2020 – 17th August 2020 will give students skills and experiences through many activities divided into Education program such as Lab activities, Interprofessional education, Stadium general and Non-Education program such as going to Candi Borobudur, watching Ramayana Traditional Performance, rafting and etc.

Summer Course on Law & Sharia at UMY Law School offer programs for university students and whoever interested to spend an unforgettable summer studying abroad in the heart of Javanese Culture City of Yogyakarta, Indonesia. This Summer Course offers a variety of courses on law and sharia—with special reference to its implementation in Indonesia—to choose from where all lectures are given by qualified lecturers, tutors, or university professors at UMY and partners. During the program, students will partake in intensive lectures based on the course topic chosen. 1st Summer Program Islamic Moderation Studies (SPIMS) is an international program which is designed by faculty of Islamic Studies Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. It is open for international students from all over the world as well as local students to join and apply for this program. The program will be conducted for a week from 4th to 11th of August 2020 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Moreover, 1st SPIMS will offer participants in studying courses about Islamic moderation, especially in Southeast Asia contexts such as Islamic movement in Indonesia, Maqasid perspective on peace and tolerance, halal studies trends, Islamic philanthropy and humanitarianism and many more. Most interestingly, by the end of this program, participants will explore and visit some historical, and cultural places like Borobudur temple, Ancient Palace, batik Ngasem and many more places in Yogyakarta. International Summer School Program on Education and Culture (ISPEdC)
ISPEdC, summer school program organized by English Language Education Department, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia, offers the participants an enriching getaway where they can spend their summer in tropical Indonesia, while contributing to locals, and broadening their horizons. The program primarily targets college students who are interested in the issues of education and cross-cultural understanding. Within the two-week-program, the participants are going to experience a cultural retreat where they will live with locals. They will also join several in-class sessions to prepare them to teach/share their culture to high school students in one of our partner schools. Throughout the program, discussions on multicultural issues such as education, traditions, culture and other related issues are also encouraged.
