Greetings from Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta!

We are pleased to present our beloved office and our university.

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) is one of the most prestigious private universities in Indonesia accredited as “A” (Excellent – Highest Level) by Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi in 2017. Located in the south of Yogyakarta, our university also recognized as the best private university in Yogyakarta in 2012 based on the WEBOMETRIC survey.

As a higher educational institution, UMY is in the process of fulfilling its mission of “Unggul & Islami” (Excellent & Islamic) in the growth of science, technology, and the arts, along with the pursuit of greater good through Islamic values. In line with the campus tagline, “Muda Mendunia” (Young and Global), our university dedicates to producing well-trained, professional, and globally competitive students with good character and virtue.

Cooperation and International Affairs (CIA) designs to promote the growth of UMY in particular by building strong collaboration and networking. We open up the partnership for all parties with the same goals and competencies, as one of our priorities is to be a “Leading ASEAN University” by 2020-2025. All students here earn one or two semesters of study in a vibrant, unique, and welcoming environment. More than that, we also offer full-time and part-time study, research partnerships, summer school, annual events and other rewarding opportunities to experience the academic, social and cultural life of Yogyakarta and other countries around the world.
