International Cultural & Culinary Festival (ICCF) is an annual event hosted by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) that allows international students to share their own culture while also learning Indonesian culture

This event will have a cultural workshop where the participants will learn about Indonesian National Costume: Batik Eco-Print and Indonesian Traditional Drink: Jamu. These workshops will be delivered by national speakers (PT Sido Muncul, one of the biggest traditional herbal manufacturers in Indonesia).

Indonesia’s wide variety of local cuisines and spices has produced a range of unique flavours.
Nevertheless, spice trade is still rampant as a pure product of colonialism – memories of the spice road poisoned by violent clashes.
The Education and Culture Ministry’s director general of culture, Hilmar Farid, said that spices played a very important role in the history of the country.
Therefore, the 6th ICCF 2021 will have a talk about the Indonesian Spice Route.

TRADITIONAL PERFORMANCE COMPETITION
All international students from university partners (national and international) will be invited to join this session. Participants will compete in five categories cultural competition,
namely:
Traditional Dance, Singing (Traditional Song), Storytelling, Food Vlog (Traditional Cuisines), Vlog in English (UMY Campus Tour for international students of UMY)
