IRO UMY NEWS – Many students wish to take part in an overseas education experience and gain a new outlook on education. The Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta provides educational exchange services to assist students in achieving their dreams. This program enables students to engage in higher education at international universities; they are excited to attend and cover to obtain abundant global learning experiences. This year, the International Relations Office (IRO) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) sends some of its students to other universities in other countries, including the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland.  As stated, that opportunity to undergo an exchange program and study abroad is a dream for many students, including Dwilani Irrynta, a Faculty of Law Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta student. She has long dreamed of participating in an exchange program. Dwilani could finally get the chance to make it happen in Poland.

Dwilani stated that she acquired a considerable amount of information during her exchange in Poland. Besides being a developed country and a technological power, she claims that the population is very open in its attitudes, especially when it comes to education. She can also engage in lots of discussions about a lot of different subjects.

As grateful she is, Dwilani wrote her impression on this exchange program.

“Hi, my name is Dwilani Irrynta, a student of Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta who joined student exchange program at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poland for a full Academic Year. I am very thankful to Mr. Yordan and IRO for giving me the great opportunity to participate on this program. Since I was a kid, I always have a dream to study abroad in Europe, and I am truly grateful that now I am able to make my dream comes true. Having the chance to study in Poland is a very valuable experience for me.”

Before ending her words, Dwilani added some messages for her fellow students.

“Where there is a will, there is a way. Never be afraid to pursue your dreams because your hard work will be paid off. So, let’s join the student exchange program and study abroad! Through this program, we can enrich our experience, both academically and non-academically, also have the multicultural and global insight as the part of international society. What are you waiting for!”

To sum it up, she advises all of her fellow friends to join the exchange program offered by International Relations Office UMY so that they won’t miss out on the change to achieve an International experience. Dołączmy się!
