Bank Danamon Syariah Visits Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta to Strengthen Collaboration

Yogyakarta – Bank Danamon Syariah held a formal audience with Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). The event, conducted in the Postgraduate Director’s Meeting Room, was attended by representatives from both parties, including Ganang Eka Kurniawan, Community Business Team Leader of Bank Danamon Syariah; Triadi Iwan, Community Business Unit Head of Bank Danamon Syariah; and Fitri Arofiati, S.Kep., Ns., MAN., Ph.D., Head of the Office of International Affairs and Partnerships at UMY. The Faculty of Economics and Business of UMY was also represented by distinguished guests. The session commenced with an opening speech by Fitri Arofiati, who expressed her gratitude to Bank Danamon Syariah for initiating this discussion to explore and expand collaborative opportunities between the two institutions. She highlighted the importance of not only possessing technical skills but also mastering effective communication and teamwork as critical aspects in today’s professional world.  

Following this, Triadi Iwan extended his appreciation to UMY for the opportunity to conduct this audience. He elaborated on the primary objectives of the meeting, including the Open Recruitment Program of Bank Danamon Syariah for UMY’s soon-to-be graduates, internship opportunities, and the potential for broader collaborative agreements. This initiative aims to strengthen ties between higher education institutions and the Islamic banking sector, paving the way for young professionals equipped with excellent skills and strong ethical values to excel in the global arena.
