UMY Expands its Network to the Northern Thailand with Kalasin University

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) under its road map for strategic development is designed to achieve reputable international university by 2020. As a concrete action, UMY expands and reaffirms its network and cooperation to the Northern part of Thailand. The meeting is held on Wednesday (15/5) at Song Plueai, Kalasin.

UMY is represented by Eko Priyo Purnomo, M.Res., Ph.D. as the Executive Director of Cooperation and International Affairs attend the meeting. Kalasin University which is represented by Associate Professor Jirapan Huaysan, President of Kalasin University, and followed by Vice President and some Deans.

Kalasin University has been preparing to cooperate with UMY by sending its staffs and students on mobility program. The concerned area of studies is liberal art, engineering, agriculture, and public administration. This agreement starts with the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and will be followed up by both parties. (mmi)
