UMY Expand International Cooperation With National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) Thailand

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) keeps enhance its international cooperation to fulfill the mission of being one of the reputable universities in Asia. One of them is by expanding cooperation with various foreign institutions that can support the development of education system at UMY.

As in an International Education road show held by The National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) in Jakarta, UMY had a chance to expand its international cooperation with NIDA. NIDA is one of the oldest public graduate university in Thailand that  have many Alumni as prime Minister, Governor and more notable person Accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA).

The meeting between UMY and NIDA was held before the international education seminar started, took place in Novotel Hotel in Jakarta on Saturday (7/9). The meeting was attended by both universities representations. From UMY, Eko Priyo Purnomo, M.Si., M.Res., Ph.D as the Executive Director of Cooperation and International Affairs and dr. Farindira Vesti rahmasari, M.Sc was present, while from NIDA was represented by the Assoc.Prof. Dr.Raweewan Auepanwiriyakul as the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Assist.Prof. Oranuch Pruetipibultham (Ph.D) as the Deputy Dean for Academic affairs.

The meeting obtains several discussions about staff and student mobility scholarship for master and PhDs.  For further act, NIDA wants to make a further cooperation with UMY by inviting Rector and staffs to NIDA as soon as possible. The meeting then closed by taking photos together.
