UMY and UiTM Signed an Agreement on The Field of Research and Education
UMY and Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia (UiTM) agreed to intertwine an agreement. On Friday, March 23rd, 2018, Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P. as UMY Rector signed a MoU with UiTM which represented by Prof. Dr. Haji Mohamad Kamal Harun as the Vice-Chancellor for Academic and International of UiTM. Both parties were coincided with establishing agreement on Education and Research. In the occasion, there are also attended by deans from over UMY Faculties and UiTM Faculties.
The meeting that held in Ruang Sidang Rektorat, UMY was continued by discussion toward future MoU that might be established within the faculties of both universities. Many initiations were presented to reach out a profitable agreement for both sides such as Community Service, Robotic Surgery, Student Exchange, Staff Exchange, etc.
