International Dental Summer School (IDSS)
This program is intentionally designed to give an opportunity for participants to experience working in a rural area in a period of 2,5-week course. The activities such as skills lab and tutorial discussion will embed and train the participants with skills that will be needed in treating a patient in holistic aspect. This program will be conducted on July 30th – August 15th, 2018.
International Tropical Medicine Summer School (ITMSS)
ITMSS is designed to broaden the students’ knowledge of the emerging tropical medicine diseases, able to perform physical examinations, laboratory findings, diagnose and treatments in the modified Problem Based Learning (PBL) system. This program combines the academic and student’s activities. The program will be held on July 30th to August 17th, 2018.
International Nursing Summer School (INSS)
The program that combined educational, cultural and social program is intended to prepare nursing students in case today’s global economy demands graduates with a global perspective. The program that is conducted on August 6th to August 18th, 2018 will train the students to develop their skills, knowledge and experience through a problem-based learning activity and community practice, especially in Gerontology.
International Emergency Nursing Camp (IENC)
This program aims to enhance knowledge of students and health practitioners in disaster emergency management as well as to prepare them for both academic and social experience. Conducted in August 3rd to 6th, the program combines two different approaches: seminar and fun trip activities.
International Pharmacy Summer School (IPSS)
This summer school aims to promote various herbs in Indonesia to others countries. Indeed, Indonesia is a tropical country possessing the greatest biodiversity in the world and comprising 35,000 species of plants. The other objective of the summer school is to reinforce internationalization of Pharmacy Department of UMY. This program will be held on August 6th to 18th.
International Tropical Farming Summer School (ITFSS)
International Tropical Farming Summer School (ITFSS) is an annual event organized by Agrotechnology Student’s Association (ASA) in Faculty of Agriculture, University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY). With ITFSS, you will gain more knowledge and experience related Tropical Farming. Main Topic of the program that conducted on 22nd – 26th of March are Tropical Agroecosystem, Integrated Farming System, and Renewable Energy. Besides, you will also get an opportunity to explore a unique and beautiful part of Yogyakarta, Indonesia with this program. ITFSS will be a perfect opportunity for you to learn about tropical farming.
International Training for Young Islamic Economic Leaders (ITYIELds)
This program is a ten days training and workshop that designed to develop student leadership skill, especially for economics students to have a sensitivity toward the environment and world issues
