Starting New Collaboration with Griffith University, UMY Opens the Potential Opportunity for Student and Staff Mobility’s Program

In order to grow its partnership among well-known universities around the globe, UMY continues to perceive the target as a reputable university. This shows by the participation of numerous universities that cordially welcome UMY’s international-based program cooperation. On Monday (6/1), UMY welcomes Lia Limbong (Griffith University Australia’s representative) and Edy Purwanta (Naresy International Education Consultant) in Cooperation and International Affairs, AR Fachruddin B. The meeting was attended by Eko Priyo Purnomo, M.Si., M.Res., Ph.D as Executive Director of Cooperation and International Affairs and Sutantri, S.Kep., Ns., M.Sc., Ph.D as Head of Administrative Cooperation.

“It such an honor for us to collaborate with one of the prestigious universities in Australia. We are gladly accepted the students from Griffith to come to our university, and we guarantee to take good hospitality during their study in Yogyakarta.”

UMY and Griffith University Australia will have cooperation on Students Mobility such as credit transfer, double degrees, joint degrees (2+2or 3+1) and Staffs Mobility. Griffith will give a full scholarship or free tuition fee and living cost only AUD 1000 for the students who are pursuing their PhD. (hnl)
