Provides Many Scholarships, UMY and TETO held Taiwan Higher Education Fair 2019
For the second times, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) cooperate with Taipei Economic & Trade Office (TETO) held Taiwan Higher Education Fair (THEF) 2019 on Wednesday (24/4) at Sportorium UMY.
THEF 2019 is participated by fifteen (15) institutions from Taiwan. Aimed two thousand visitors of highschool students and public, THEF 2019 becomes a golden opportunity for students to acquire information of scholarships and studying in Taiwan. Besides, THEF 2019 also provides various door prizes for lucky visitor.
“Taiwan has many higher educational institutions that included within the rank of five hundred in the world. It shows that Taiwan has integrity and quality of education that should be learned from. Therefore, this event aims to give scholarship information for high school, undergraduate, post-graduate students who want to continue their study”. Said Dr. Ir. Gunawan Budiyanto, M.P., rector of UMY.
Gunawan adds that by holding fair from various universities from Taiwan, there will be discussions between headships of university which is expected to generate the outcomes of partnership and cooperation between UMY and Taiwanese universities that participated in THEF 2019. (mmi)
