KKN International workshop
KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) or community service which is an obligation for UMY student before graduation. However KKN divided by two group which is KKN regular and KKN Internasional. Community service or social work service is a compulsory subject where each final year student must provide 240 hours of service to the community over a one month. This fieldwork is coordinated by the LP3M UMY (the UMY Community Service Agency) and International Relation Office. Students need to attain at least 110SCS in order to do the community service. Violation of any Community Service Program rules and regulations will result in grades being cancelled and the student concerned will be obliged to redo the program period.
On 18th and 19th August 2017, LP3M with 27 students registered KKN international had workshop as preparation before the program start on this September. All the student will collaborate with the Singapore Polytechnic and Kanazawa University Japan and together devoting their self for society betterment. This program created to enhance value added, morality, synergy and flexibility of student itself as preparation for future ahead.
