Goes to Malaysia, UMY Signs MoU with Two Universities from Spain

Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta (UMY) in one of its vision to become a reputable university holds an agreement with two universities from Spain, namely Universitat de Barcelona and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. All parties agree to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate collaboration among universities to have exchange program for undergraduate, master, and doctoral students. The MoU is signed at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Tuesday, (26/3).

UMY is represented by Dr. Mukti Fajar ND, S.H., M.Hum. (University’s Senior Advisor), Eko Priyo Purnomo, M.Res., Ph.D (Executive Director of Cooperation and International Affairs), and Asik Hanita S.Pd (Staff of Cooperation and International Affairs). Universitat de Barcelona is represented by Esther Matra (Director for International Development) and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona is represented by Marius Martinez Munos (Vice Rector for International relation) Katja Schuctakowitz (Director for International Relation), Montserrat Alegre Mena (Technical Relation for International Institution).

This MoU-signing presupposes the UMY’s benefit for providing exchange programs for undergraduate and master students, and doctoral program for UMY’s lecturer. (mmi)
